Ugandan defender Mustafa Kizza has been unveiled by Kenyan side Nairobi United, completing a move from Uganda Premier League outfit NEC FC.
Kizza is expected to be joined at the club by his NEC teammates Charles Waibi and Titus Ssematimba, with Nairobi United having shown interest in the trio after formally approaching NEC last month.
The Kenyan side first got a close look at the players during last year’s CAF Confederation Cup, where Nairobi United eliminated NEC over two legs.

The move brings to an end Kizza’s short stay at NEC, where he spent just five months after joining from Egyptian side Telecom FC where he struggled for game time.
Nairobi United now becomes the latest stop in a career that has seen the left-back feature for several clubs.
Kizza rose through the ranks at KCCA FC before earning a high-profile move to Major League Soccer side Montreal Impact in 2020.

He later left North America for Portuguese club Arouca FC and has also had a stint at Express FC, continuing a career that has taken him across Africa, Europe and North America.
