Guinness Matchday on Tour will make its next stop in Masaka City on Sunday, April 19, 2026, with organisers lining up a full day of football and entertainment at Masaka Sports Club.

The event will centre around the Guinness Matchday Truck, which will convert the venue into a stadium-like viewing arena. Fans will watch live English Premier League matches on giant screens, creating a matchday atmosphere away from the stadium.

The main attraction will be the Super Sunday clash between Manchester City and Arsenal, a fixture that could have a major impact on the title race.

Arsenal are pushing to end a wait of more than 20 years for a league title, while Manchester City remain focused on defending their dominance. The encounter also comes shortly after the two sides met in the Carabao Cup final, where City emerged winners.

Fans attending the Masaka event will also follow the full Super Sunday lineup, alongside interactive activities and matchday competitions with prizes up for grabs.

Entertainment will be part of the experience, with performances from Afrobeat and dancehall artist Ava Peace. DJs including DJ Woodgate, DJ Brattah and Andy DJ will provide music throughout the day.

Guinness activations will also take place in other parts of the country for fans unable to travel to Masaka. Viewing centres will be set up at The Villa in Bukoto and Supremacy Lounge in Nakulabye, Kampala, as well as D’Ajango in Hoima, and D Plus outlets in Gulu and Kitgum.

Guinness Brand Manager at Uganda Breweries Limited, Denise Paula Nazzinda, said the tour continues to attract strong support across the country.

“Everywhere we’ve gone, fans have turned up in big numbers. It shows how much they have embraced the Guinness Matchday on Tour, and we are delighted to continue bringing them these unforgettable experiences.”

“We call upon everyone in Masaka City to come to Masaka Sports Club on April 19, bring your friends, and let’s enjoy the beautiful game together,”

Organisers added that fans will have access to Guinness products at promotional prices throughout the event.
