KCCA Leopards returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion with a dominant 79-45 victory over Victoria She Crocs in the National Basketball League on Sunday at YMCA Court, Wandegeya.
Coming into the contest, the Leopards were eager to respond after a dismal outing in their previous game where they suffered a 47-28 defeat, managing just 28 points across four quarters.
Sunday, however, told a completely different story.
KCCA set the tone early, exploding for 20 points in just the opening quarter while limiting Victoria to just seven.
The Leopards’ offensive rhythm and defensive discipline saw them build steady control, ultimately sealing a comprehensive 34-point triumph.
Tracy Namugosa led the charge with a game-high 22 points, while Susan Aanyu added 18 points and pulled down nine rebounds in a commanding all-round performance.
Victoria She Crocs struggled to find offensive consistency, with Grant Generous the only player to reach double figures, finishing with 12 points.
The Crocs endured a frustrating shooting night from long range, missing 21 of their 24 three-point attempts. They were also outrebounded 58-42, further compounding their difficulties.
The victory marks KCCA’s third win in four games under coach Tonny Drilleba, having previously registered wins against JKL Lady Dolphins and Pearl Queens.
