Last season, Abdallah played for Buhimba United Saints after leaving Musanze.

Salim Abdallah has signed a two year deal with Big League side Volcanoes FC. The 25 year old joins the Kisoro-based side with valuable experience from both Ugandan and regional football, having previously featured for SC Villa, URA FC and Musanze FC in Rwanda.
Salim began his football journey at Kisoro Young Simba Football Academy in 2010 before joining the SC Villa Jogoo Academy in 2014.
He subsequently progressed to the senior team, where he featured in the Uganda Premier League.
His rise through the youth ranks was highlighted in 2017 when he was named Most Valuable Player during the Airtel Rising Stars Western Region qualifiers at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.
The midfielder also boasts an educational background from institutions renowned for nurturing football talent. He attended Homisdallen School in Kamwokya for his primary education before proceeding to St Mary’s SS Kitende, Standard High
School Zana and Buddo SS.
Salim most recently played for Musanze FC in Rwanda before returning to Uganda to join SC Volcanoes.
SC Volcanoes Vice President Capt. Arthur Mugisha Rucakatsi confirmed the signing saying that , Salim’s arrival is part of the club’s plan to build a balanced squad capable of competing at the second tier of Ugandan football.
He further urged the people of Kisoro and SC Volcanoes supporters to turn up in large numbers for matches and continue backing the team throughout the season.
Salim is expected to provide creativity, technical quality and experience in the middle of the park as SC Volcanoes prepare for their first-ever FUFA Big League campaign.
His signing adds to the club’s ongoing recruitment drive as the Western Regional League champions work to assemble a competitive squad following their promotion.
SC Volcanoes are continuing preparations for the 2026/27 FUFA Big League season, which is expected to commence around 20 September 2026.
