Uganda Premier league entity Lugazi FC have completed the signing of midfielder Amuli Mukasa, Swift Sports can reliably confirm.
Mukasa joins the UPL side that is managed by Simon Peter Mugerwa on a two year employment contract.
The midfielder has been featuring for non-league side Football Classroom in the Stanbic Uganda Cup helping them seal a historic round of 32 slot after dismantling Calvary FC 3-1 in the round of 64 on Monday.
URA FC and record league champions SC Villa were interested in Mukasa’s signature in 2024.
Mukasa has also played for Kiyinda Boys FC in the FUFA Big League and also featured for Ssingo Ssaza team in 2022 Buganda Masaza Cup helping them reach the semifinals. He also plays for Nkima Clan in the Bika Bya Baganda Football competition.
Lugazi FC earlier this window confirmed the signing of midfielder Hamza Mulambuzi on a two year contract from Mbarara City.
They are 11th on the Uganda Premier league table with 15 points they have so far garnered this season.
