Police FC put up a superb performance with a 2-0 win over KCCA FC during their league encounter on Tuesday at Kira Road Arena.

Following a two week AFCON break, the Uganda Premier League returned with matchday 12 that included the contest between the Cops and Kasasiro Boys.

After a goalless first half, the hosts scored two second half goals from Brian James Obedi and Congolese forward Bedia Djuma Ikamba.

Obedi gave the home side the lead six minutes after the recess with a fine stroke after being fed by man of the match Denis Kalanzi.

Ikamba doubled their advantage in the 62nd minute of the game to secure all three points for the Cops.

Police are now third on the Uganda Premier League table with 24 points while KCCA FC are second with 26 points.
