Wakiso Giants FC have suspended two players from all club activities following what the club describes as repeated acts of indiscipline.
In letters signed by club CEO Kamoga Sula, the Purple Sharks announced the immediate discontinuation of Yiga Joseph Kasozi Samson from all Wakiso Giants FC activities.
According to the letters, the decision takes immediate effect and runs until February 7, 2026.
The suspensions cover all club-related engagements, including training sessions, league matches, friendly games, and any other official activities involving the club.
The FUFA Big League side stated that the action was taken after careful consideration and review of the conduct of the two players, which the club says fell short of its expected standards of discipline, respect, and commitment.
The club added that the alleged repeated indiscipline undermined its reputation and core values, leaving management with no alternative but to impose disciplinary measures.
As part of the sanctions, both individuals have been barred from accessing the club’s training grounds, facilities, and any club event locations with immediate effect.
They have also been instructed to return all club property in their possession — including official kits, training gear, keys, and any identification documents — to the team manager’s office.
In addition, Wakiso Giants FC directed the two to cease presenting themselves as players or representatives of the club during the suspension period.
The club has not publicly detailed the specific incidents that led to the disciplinary action
