Vipers SC and Kitara FC will discover their CAF inter-club competitions preliminary round opponents on Thursday, 6th August 2026.
Vipers who won the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League title will represent Uganda in the CAF Champions League.
Kitara, Stanbic Uganda Cup winners will take part in the CAF Confederation Cup 2026/27 with the draw for the preliminary round set to take place at CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
The CAF Confederation Cup draw will begin at 14h00 Cairo time (11h00 GMT), followed by the CAF Champions League draw at 15h00 Cairo time (12h00 GMT).
According to CAF, both draws will be broadcast live on CAF TV, giving supporters across Africa and beyond the opportunity to follow the opening chapter of another exciting CAF Interclub season.
Denis Onyango’s Mamelodi Sundowns are the reigning CAF Champions League title champions while USM Alger of Algeria won the CAF Confederation Cup last season.
