Uganda Premier League newcomers Ntugasaze FC are close to signing the trio of Joseph Kafumbe, Tonny Atugonza and Johnson Odongo.
This website has established that the trio has already agreed terms with the new league entrants.
Odongo, who plays as a winger, has topflight division experience having previously featured for Police FC, Gaddafi FC and UPDF FC.
Kafumbe is a former SC Villa left-back where he won the league title during the 2023/24 season before he joined Mbarara City FC and Mbale Heroes.
Atugonza will be making a return to Ntugasaze having previously played for them in the regional league. He is also a former Gomba Ssaza team goalkeeper whom he captained to the 2023 Masaza Cup final.
Ntugasaze have also rewarded goalkeeper Kenneth Lukyamuzi with a new one-year employment contract and added striker Kennedy Muserero to their books from KCCA FC on loan.
They are currently bottom-placed in their debut UPL campaign with no points in the four games they have so far played and will hope the new additions turn their fortunes around.
