    Uganda keeps previous position in latest rankings as Tuesday’s AFCON opponents Tunisia drop – Swift Sports Uganda

    The December 2025 FIFA World rankings have been released on Monday, 22nd December.

    Uganda are still ranked 85th as it was during the previous edition of the Men’s rankings that were revealed in November.

    The Cranes will be facing Nigeria, Tunisia and Tanzania in the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Morocco.

    Meanwhile, Tunisia who are Uganda’s AFCON 2025 opponents on Tuesday, 23rd November have dropped by one position from 40th to 41st in the December rankings.

    Nigeria and Tanzania who are the Cranes other AFCON opponents in Group C remain 38th and 112th respectively as in the previous World rankings.

    Morocco who have kicked off their AFCON campaign remain as Africa’s number one ranked side and stay 11th in the World.

    Meanwhile, Spain stay as the number ranked side in the world, followed by Argentina, France England, Portugal, Netherlands, Brazil, Belgium, Italy and Germany respectively.
