*Kitara Vs URA – Butema, 4pm
*SC Villa Vs Maroons – Kadiba, 8pm

SC Villa will be targeting maximum points when they host Maroons FC on Thursday in the Uganda Premier League at FUFA Stadium Kadiba.

The Jogoos will be without left back Simon Semayange due to injury, while Isaac Mpagi has returned to full fitness and is available for selection.

Assistant head coach Peter Onen commented; “We’ve not been scoring, so it’s been our focus during training. We need to score more and win our games. We understand Maroons FC is not an easy team, but the points are all that we need.”

SC Villa have drawn their last two matches against URA FC and Lugazi FC, with both games ending goalless.

The Jogoos start the day in sixth with 31 points after 16 games, but a win can see them climb up to second!

Maroons, meanwhile, are winless in their last five outings since a 4–0 victory over Express FC, having kicked off the second round with a 1-0 defeat at home against Kitara.

In the reverse fixture at Luzira Prisons Ground, Maroons edged SC Villa 1–0 thanks to a goal from Ivan Mayanja.
