The round of 16 draw of 52nd edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup has been held on Thursday, morning 5th March 2026 at FUFA House in Mengo, Kampala city.

The Round of 16  matches are to be played between 16th and 20th March 2026.

SC Villa who eliminated 2022 winners BUL FC at the previous round have been drawn against another UPL side Maroons.

Reigning competition champions Vipers will face off with FUFA Big league side Iganga United at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

Joint record competion winners KCCA FC who have won the trophy ten times will lock horns with Onduparaka FC who ejected non-league side Football Classroom at the round of 32 stage.

Kitara FC former champions in 2024 will host Bunyaruguru United at Royals Park in Butema .

Hussein Mbalangu’s URA FC will battle North-East regional side Tapoh at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo.

Happy Boyz Kagaba face Six O’clock in a clash of two lower division regional sides while NEC FC will take on either Lugazi FC or Police FC in the other UPL clash.

Police petitioned that Lugazi who had eliminated them in the round of 32 used Umar Kyabatala who had featured for non-league side Football Classroom in the same competition.

Vipers won the competition last year when they beat KCCA FC in the first ever match to be played at FUFA Kadiba Stadium, with Yunus Sentamu and Livingstone Mulondo scoring the two goals. Winners represent Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup.
