Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca have expressed their interest in signing Allan Okello from Young Africans.
According to Felix Jason, Wydad Casablanca have submitted a $700,000 to sign the Uganda Cranes offensive midfielder from the Tanzanian champions.
However, Felix reports that Yanga have a $1m valuation as the asking price for Okello and can only sell him after the valuation is met by the suitors.
Okello who joined Yanga from Vipers in January this year, has one year and about five months left on his contract with the Tanzanian giants.
Okello played an integral role as Yanga won the 2025/26 league title as he scored 14 goals and provided seven assists in 21 games.
Once again he is expected to be key as Yanga take on rivals Simba SC in the Super Cup scheduled today (Wednesday) at the Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar.
Upto date, Joel Madondo is the only Ugandan who has played for Wydad Casablanca having joined the Moroccan giants in 2020 from Busoga United.
Okello was also instrumental as the Uganda Cranes returned to the Africa Cup of Nations tournament but as had impressive exploits during the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
