Police FC will be without striker Bedia Djuma Ikamba as they take on hosts Buhimba United Saints today at Royals Park Butema in Hoima.
Ikamba was sent off last week against Lugazi in a 2-1 win, and starts his suspension today.
He will be hugely missed with the forward second leading goal scorer in the league at the moment with seven goals.
Dennis Kalanzi is also out due personal reasons while Brian Obedi, Ramsay Jemba, Derrick Maviiri and Tonny Kiwalazi did not travel with the team due to injuries.
But Police coach Matia Lule remains confident about the team’s chances: “The only pressure we have is to play well, we are aware of the cost of this game and we are here to fight so that we go with a good result.”
Police beat Buhimba United in the first round 4-0 with Kalanzi, Maviiri, Umar Kasumba and Saidi Kyeyune scoring a goal each.
Police start the day in fourth with 31 points while Buhimba are 14th, just a place above the red zone, with 14 points.
