NEC FC duo of Charles Waibi and Titus Ssematimba has joined Nairobi United FC, Swift Sports Uganda understands.

This website has established that Nairobi United has agreed terms with the two players after capturing Mustafa Kizza’s signature this transfer window.

Waibi joined NEC FC at the start of this season from Kigezi Homeboyz at the start of this season.

Waibi spent three seasons with Kigezi, scoring 14 goals and 25 assists, during his time at the club before he joined NEC.

Waibi scored against Nairobi United during the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup in the game that ended 1-1 in Kenya last year.

Ssematimba also joined NEC FC at the beginning of this season following a short stint at Kitara FC. He also featured for Wakiso Giants.

He also had a brief loan spell at Al Dahra in the United Arab Emirates third tier at the start of last year.

Ssematimba rose to the scene with Black Star Masanafu FC and St. Lawrence University in the Kampala Regional League and University football league respectively.

Nairobi United eliminated NEC FC in this season’s CAF Confederation Cup and are currently ninth on the Kenyan Premier League table with 19 points.
