Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League leaders Kawempe Muslim have signed midfielder Zainah Namboozo from Asubo Ladies FC.
Namboozo who has been serving as the Asubo Ladies captain, has put pen to paper on a three year contract with the Valley Warriors.
The versatile midfielder has been signed as a potential replacement for Kruthum Namutebi whose contract expires at the end of the season.
The five time league winners have also added youngster Kevin Nanyunja to the ranks from their sister club URA Ladies FC.
Nanyunja is a budding striker who also plays for the Kawempe Muslim School Team and has previously featured for the National U16 team in 2024.
Nanyunja’s addition adds options and a much needed depth in the team’s offensive department heading into the business end of the season.
Kawempe Muslim will face St. Noa Girls FC in their subsequent league game on Saturday (tomorrow) 21st February at Wankulukuku.
Kawempe Muslim currently sit on top of the Women Super League table with 28 points, two better than second placed She Corporate FC.
