Hamza Lutalo will return to KCCA Women FC as head coach ahead of the 2026/27 FUFA Women Super League, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Lutalo will replace Ethiopian tactician Asefa Firew Hailegebreal, who departed the club following the expiry of his employment contract.
Lutalo will make a return to the club he led to the 2022/23 FUFA Women Super League title before being replaced by Ssenyange Nsanziro alias Kadidi in 2023.
Besides Kampala Queens, Lutalo has previously served as head coach of the U-17 national team and Victoria University in the Pepsi University Football League. He also had a short stint at Ssingo in the Masaza Cup.
At Kampala Queens, Lutalo guided the side to its maiden FUFA Women Super League title.
Meanwhile, the FUFA Competitions Department has confirmed the fixtures for the 2026/27 FUFA Women Super League, with the kick-off slated for Saturday, 19th September 2026, as reigning champions Kawempe Muslim Ladies host newly promoted Jinja United WFC at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende at 4:00 PM.
Lutalo’s second tenure at KCCA Women FC will kick off away to URA Ladies on Sunday, 20th September at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
