The second round of the FUFA Big League kicked off with Match-day 16 held at various grounds.
Table leaders Blacks Power FC were shocked 1-0 away to Young Elephant FC in Nwoya, courtesy of an own goal. The result saw second placed Ntugasaze close the gap.
This was Blacks Power’s third defeat in the 16 games they have played and stayed at the top of the table with 29 points.
Ntugasaze FC cruised to a commanding 4-1 win over Nebbi Central FC at Kiira Road Arena on Sunday.
Ntugasaze is currently second on the FUFA Big League table with 28 points, one below leaders Blacks Power.
Abdallah Kawanguzi, James Jarieko, Godfrey Kakooza and Brian Omirambe scored the four goals for Ntugasaze.
Meanwhile, Kigezi Homeboyz FC were held to a one-all draw by Kaaro Karungi FC, while Kataka FC prevailed to 2-0 win against Bunyaruguru United FC in Mbale.
Elsewhere, Soltilo Bright Stars FC edged CATDA FC 1–0 at Bugolobi Coffee Grounds, while Paidha Black Angels SC secured a similar 1–0 victory over Mbale Heroes FC.
Iganga United FC registered a 2–1 win against Onduparaka FC, and Wakiso Giants FC overcame Kiyinda Boys FC 1-0, thanks to a Davies Kakande sole strike at Nakivubo.
