Express, who endured a mixed campaign last season, are looking to add depth and experience across all departments. Jjonga is expected to bolster the midfield having featured for three time Masaza Cup champions Buddu and Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi.
The Red Eagles have been one of the busiest sides in the current window, with head coach Morley Byekwaso determined to build a squad for the expanded 18-team, 34-game season.
Express FC will kick off their 2026/27 campaign away to BUL FC on Sunday 30th August at FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.
