Ugandan sports on April 20, 2026, were mostly about football in the Uganda Premier League.

NEC FC won 1–0 against Maroons FC. The goal was scored by Richard Basangwa. NEC are now unbeaten in 16 matches. This means they have not lost in 16 games. They are one of the strongest teams right now.

At the top of the table, the title race is very close. Vipers SC are still number one. KCCA FC and Kitara FC are just behind them. The points difference is small, so every match is very important.

In other games, Police FC won 2–1 against Mbarara City FC. Entebbe UPPC FC also won 2–1 against Buhimba United Saints FC. These results are important for teams in the middle and bottom of the table.

The league is now in an important stage. Teams at the top are fighting to win the title. Other teams are fighting to stay in the league. Every point matters.
