Kiyinda Boys registered another huge win in the FUFA Big League to keep a safer distance away from the red zone.
Kiyinda Boys, now thriving under new head coach Emmy Kisakye beat CATDA 5-0 at Bertham City, Kiwenda on Sunday evening.
One goal was scored in the first half, and four more in the second half as Kiyinda Boys put five past CATDA, who had no response as Patrick Ssegawa kept a clean-sheet.
Michael Kimera, Jimmy Ndalambi, N. Senono, B. Masembe and Derrick Tendo all contributed a goal each to Kiyinda Boys’ huge victory.
The team had been largely battling relegation after inconsistent results in the opening matches, but since Kisakye’s arrival, there’s a great turn around of events — the team that was losing regularly is now scoring for fun!
Before Sunday’s 5-0 win, Kiyinda Boys had just beaten Mbale Heroes 6-1 in the their previous match.
The victory places Kiyinda Boys just above the red line, 12th on the 16-team table, level on 15 points with 11th-placed Nebbi Central.
