KCCA FC returned to winning ways with a commanding display against UPDF FC on Tuesday at the MTN Omondi Stadium.

The Brian Ssenyondo side cruised to a 4-0 victory over the army side. KCCA had not registered victory in their last two league games, losing to Police FC and a goalless stalemate at Maroons.

A brace from Sammy Ssebaduka, Joel Sserunjogi and Alpha Ssali ensured that the Kasasiro Boys prevail to maximum points.

Ssebaduka gave the hosts the lead in the 12th minute tapping home a perfect Herbert Achayi cross.

Sserunjogi doubled KCCA FC’s advantage at the half-hour mark from the spot after Shafik Nana Kwikiriza had been fouled in the forbidden area.

UPDF barely threatened KCCA and in the second half, Ssebaduka completed his brace in the 51st minute to extend the hosts lead.

Ssali who replaced Ssebaduka in the 75th minute, put the cherry on the icing of the cake with his first goal in KCCA colours in stoppage time.

KCCA are now second on the Uganda Premier league table with 30 points while UPDF are second from the bottom on eleven points.
