    UPDF FC shakes coaching department in bid to beat relegation

    Relegation threatened side UPDF FC have a confirmed a change in their technical team.“The club appreciates both coaches for their service, commitment, and contribution during their time with the team, and we wish them the very best in their future endeavors.”

    Relegation threatened side UPDF FC have a confirmed a change in their technical team.

    First team coach Paul Kiwanuka alongside defensive coach Denis Oweka have been relieved of their duties with immediate effect.

    The Army men used their official social media platforms to confirm the changes,

    “UPDF FC confirms that First Assistant Coach Kiwanuka Paul and Defensive Coach Oweka Denis have been relieved of their duties with immediate effect.”

    “The club appreciates both coaches for their service, commitment, and contribution during their time with the team, and we wish them the very best in their future endeavors.”

    The club has also confirmed new faces in the technical department with Mudde Musa taking over as the assistant coach and Juma Nasur being added onto the goalkeepers department.

    “To strengthen the technical bench, Mudde Musa has joined the assistant coaching team, while Juma Nasur will reinforce the goalkeeping department as part of the ongoing technical adjustments.”

    UPDF FC finished the first round 15th on the table with only 11 points collected from 15 games.

    They will start the second round by hosting fellow strugglers Buhimba Saints United FC on Friday
    13th-February at Bombo Military Barracks grounds.
